The NJ-NY Georgia Tech Alumni Network exists because of volunteerism and donations from alumni. This month, we interviewed a select few from about 200 high school seniors who were interested in GT and also interested in receiving our scholarship.
Every year through event fundraising, we supply highly qualified students with scholarships after they accept Georgia Tech as their choice. Here is a list of some of the events we have been hosting in NYC and
NJ. I hope you were able to catch at least a few of these. We would
like to keep them going and also add new ideas to the mix for the
future. If you are great at planning, organizing, networking, and
leading, please consider joining the Leadership Team so that these
great events will carry on for years to come. It takes great
leadership and planning for these events blossom. We will be
searching for new leaders for any roles including president, so please
contact me if you are interested. If you would like to volunteer, you
can always attend the events and help out.

It has been a fun 2011 GT game watching season in NYC with the Alumni Network. We invite you to come watch the Sun Bowl on Dec 31, 2011 at 2pm. We’ll be at our NYC venue - Upstairs at The Playwright Pub on 35th Street.
